Day 89 of 365 Welcome To The Museum

I think this could become a series...I'm just saying. Museum pieces. Anyhow, remember that epiphany that I was supposedly going to post on yesterday's photo? Yea, me either hardly, but I'll give it a shot haha. So as anyone who has followed my photos recently has noticed I've been delving deeper and deeper into Photoshop. This is probably going to be a continuing trend to some extent as I'm still trying to learn and grow in my skills as both a photographer and artist. I know there is sometimes controversy over the use of Photoshop and photos, but here's my own personal view on it. When it comes to actual art skills I cannot draw/paint to save myself, which is why my media of choice is photography. So I may have the same ideas that natural media artists have, but have no other way to portray them except with photography/photo manipulations. Therefore, it's what I use to get my ideas down into a final image just like painters do in my opinion. Anyhow, I was bored yesterday and just thought about that more than I probably should have. Processing: All of images/textures used were taken by me. This image ended up being about 19 layers total and processing took me about 6-7 hours.
